Renegade will be available in the U.S. with one of two engines: a 1.4-liter turbo four, shared with the Fiat Abarth, that makes 160 hp, or 2.4-liter I-4 generating 184 hp. The turbo mates only to a six-speed manual, the 2.4 to a segment-exclusive nine-speed automatic. Each drivetrain is available with front- or four-wheel drive.
I don't know if Jeep really wants to miss that piece of the market.
