A biometric vehicle could check your blood alcohol, blood sugar, blood pressure and give you a colonoscopy all before you ever get to drive off!

I was not able to lock my car when I left my keys in the car I was impressed. I left them in there by accident last week and was wondering why it wasn't locking with the button on the handle

Smart Key

I have several times gotten out of the vehicle, clicked the lock button on the door, only to hear the lock and then unlock itself if the key is still inside the vehicle. Love this feature!

But if you have auto lock feature turned on and forget your keys it will lock the door with your fob inside

I had an odd occurrence the other day relating to this. I started the car and got out to get something out of the hatch, and when I closed it, it came back open by itself. After about 3 times of it re-opening itself automatically, I walked to the door and opened it to see what the deal was. My keys were laying in the seat(I normally never take them out of my pocket), so I guess that's the THs way of not letting me lock my keys in the car.

What causes your doors to auto lock? I thought the auto lock only occurs when you take it out of Park, but I can't be sure.

one of the security settings. I havent had the time to find it to turn it off. I know I did before but when I updated the uconnect it reset my settings and started auto locking my doors.

According to the Uconnect manual. Which could certainly be wrong. The Auto Lock doesn't lock the doors until the vehicle reaches 15 mph. So I don't know how or why you vehicle locked while in park with the key fob inside, but sounds like something is wrong with the software then.
