Will 225/65R17 fit on a trailhawk? (yes)

Hello. I'm looking to buy some better tires for the Trailhawk. Will 225/65R17, All-Terrain T/A KO2's fit? I also have some Renegade Ready 1" Spacers on the way.

TIA

Uhh, where are you seeing such a size. There's a 225 75 16, a 235 70 16 and a 235 80 117. No 225 65 17 that I can see at tirerack or BFG's page for the tire.

There's a number of people experimenting with other tires, jury is still out on what all fits well or good enough. Odds are for anything offorad, you are going to need at least new wheels (16"), if not wheels and a spacer.

I ordered some Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S 225/65/R17's from Belle Tire today. They told me they'd fit.

They ship from Indiana, so it'll be a few days. I'll try to find this thread after they're installed and report back.

Hypocrite- If those fit, that's probably going to be an ideal tire. Less than 3 lbs heavier than stock as opposed to 15 lbs or so for an LT type tire. Let us know.

And will 225/70 R17 fit, with the G-force 1" lift kit? With totally no rub, I mean.

Juan- I don't know. I can't find a straight answer on if the G-Force kit adds an inch to a Trailhawk or just replaces the factory lift which would give you a net increase of <1/4". If the latter is true, probably not.

Tirerack had that size listed then removed it, and I cant find the size on the BFG website so I am not 100% convinced they exist. I like the geos, and I am anxious to see if yours fit. You have a trailhawk correct?
