A/T Tire Alternatives

I know most owners with all terrains opt for the BFG KO2's, but I just can't justify spending that much, so have turned to other tire options.

I've narrowed it down the General Grabber AT2's and Kumho RoadVenture AT51's. Is anyone running either of these tires? I want a true A/T tire, with some good tread for off-roading, but don't want to sacrifice too much comfort on the road. I have a friend who highly recommends the Kumho's, but they don't quite look as rugged as I was going for.

Can anyone provide their suggestions or experience with either of these wheels?

Hello i can tell you we run general grabbers on our 86 ford 4x4----35x12.50x15 that is with a 4 inch lift. We really like the tires great tread design---a little loud, but thats ok for us, off road and snow is perfect---this is just our opinion. For our renegade we run bfg--ko2's---225x 65x17, we love the tires, no problems at all. Good luck hope this helps a bit. Let us know of your choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Given the 2 choices, I'd go General all the way.

I've had great service from 2 sets of Generals

Good luck with you choice!
