Pop Trunk from the Inside?

I'm a new Renegade owner, 2015 Latitude 4X4, manual.
I frequently drive into a place where I need to "pop" the trunk so that someone can look inside for security purposes.
I do not see any control to do that. I know about the unmarked remote button but that does not seem to work when the car is running.
The trunk (hatch) release button is not that easy to find and press for the uninitiated it seems.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

I meant the trunk button is not that easy to find from the outside by those who are unfamiliar with the vehicle.

As far as I know, there isn't a button to open the rear hatch from the inside. Maybe your best bet will be to get out of the car and open it yourself? (if that is allowed)

2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack
2014 H-D Road King

On my '15 Latitude keyless entry fob there is a "blank" button. If you press it kind of hard it will "release" the back hatch so they can just lift the door to look in...without them having to search for the release button.

Have you looked in your manual to find this? Page 147.

Bozone (n.): The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright ideas from penetrating. The bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of breaking down in the near future.

I am pretty sure the trunk cannot be popped from inside the jeep. This comes from 6 months of owning the vehicle, but I could be wrong.

Which the OP knows about, and does not work with the motor running.

Thanks to those who responded.
I am still a bit incredulous that the hatch cannot be opened from the driver's position. Even my low-trim level other vehicle has a remote trunk release. I still love the car so far, despite a few minor annoyances.
