Talking This may sound strange.(remove roof rails)

Tried posting this as a reply on a different thread with no success.

I've been in a loaner for the past couple days. They gave me a Sport model and mine is a Latitude. There's a lot of things I don't like about the sport but that's not important at the moment... I have noticed that the sport (IMO) looks better on the outside. And for the life of me, I couldn't figure out why.

Then BAM!
It hit me. No Roof rails...

I wanna take em off....lol!

Any pointers?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure how to do it, but I have seen many people that are interested in those...I bet you could sell them pretty easily.

Sell the rails and its underside trim. Get money and full trim from them. Easy swap out. I liked the look too, but liked carrying things overhead more.

Theres 4 hex bolts per rail (2 in the front, 2 in the back), you pop the little black covers off and just unscrew. its very easy

Specifically its a 5mm hex bolt. When you take them off, theres a pressure clip in the rear. A panel popper, or a nice tug will remove it fully.

Idk... They're really starting to grow on me. I'm a prepper. The ability to add a shooting platform up there might have my attention. Lol!

Garage
How much do you want for them? Are yours black, bronze or silver?

They're definitely black... Not 100% sure I want rid of them anymore.
