I have a 2016 Renegade Trailhawk. I've been looking for the max weight rating for the red recovery hooks located on the front and rear. Anyone know where I can find this information?
I've had concerns using my TH to pull an aluminum boat out of the water. The weight is under but... pulling uphill out of the water has me concerned... Anyone have any experience on this?
Looks like we have derailed the thread. apologies...
I've got a FWD and can pull up a 16' with a 70HP 2 cycle. I wouldn't try mine on a steep ramp because of the FWD slipping, the manual, and a 1st gear that is too high. None of those should be a problem for the Trailhawk. (I also wouldn't go heavier than that)
Good info. I searched and found the towing thread. The boat ramp in particular on the lake I live on is not too steep. I should be fine.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
