Renegade Camping

Are there any pictures of someone laying in the back of the Renegade with the seats down? I want to purchase one, but want the ability to sleep in the back if needed.I also know you can lay down the passenger seat and maybe that could help? Thanks!

I don't think there is enough space to steel inside.

The things I've seen written about the cargo area mention that with the front passenger seat folded forward you can fit a 5 foot ladder in the Renegade. That would imply that the cargo area + rear seats folded flat would likely give something in the range of 4 feet of flat surface... so unless you've really short, camping in the back isn't a feasible option.

I was totally planning the same thing, probably for a road trip. I'm sure you can toss around some luggage, add some pillows and blankets and have a (free) nights sleep. Sure, you might have to curl up a bit but it beats paying a buttload of money for just a place to sleep

Renegade Tent Option

Just pop one of these on the back and experience all the comforts of home. No point in going on the cheap and being all crunched into a 4' space.

This and other conveniences are already in the European accessories catalog and should be available in the US - assuming you guys ever get an allotment.

How did this go from camping to public transportation?

I sleep in the back of my Jeep from time to time while camping. It's a great option for nights when there may be a thunderstorm or high wind. No tent full of water to deal with the next morning.
