Perfect fit!

I now have much better, crisper highs. It sounds great and all off of the factory head unit.
Thank you Gatorade for sharing which speakers and wire harness work for the dash speakers and also for the excellent pictures of the install! I just ordered them from Crutchfield, phoned it in and got the wire harness free. It's a nice bonus that they are on sale now for $30 for the pair as another poster noted. Shipping I think was about $6.

Just installed the 3.5 inch kickers and wow! The sound is way better. I also had to adjust the EQ. Very pleased with these - thanks Gatorade!

My TH came with the 9-speaker system. Will start with the 3.5" in the dash and go from there. Thanks all for your info, guidance and input, can't wait to do this.

After seeing the pictures of the factory 3.5, I will do my 3.5's pronto. Just have to decide between the Kicker's and the Polk's.

Are the wiring harnesses for the front door 6x9's the same as the 3.5 dash harnesses?

Went through the thread and found the answer about the wiring harnesses. What are the size of the speakers in the rear cargo area?

Thanks, Gatorade. Quick question, though: how difficult would you say swapping out the 3.5 speakers is for someone with NO experience? My main worry is the harness installation--any wire cutting involved and I'm better off going to Best Buy.

If I you get the adapters with them it is all plugs, no cutting. Hardest part are the screws near the windshield.

Curious what you didn't like? I'm in the dealer right now because mine sound horrible. They're replacing the door speakers since they buzz and rattle. Also I'm a bit disappointed that it comes with SXM but no HD radio. I had HD in my last 2 rides and you can tell a big difference. If the new ones suck I may have to do like you're doing here.
