OK, that's friggin' great!

Just bought a small motorcycle, and am considering taking up a friend's offer to track/race it in a city about 8 hrs drive away. Have been thinking about getting a small trailer, but...hey...

Just this and all is well, mine has another 700-800lbs of cargo inside too, which is why it is squatting so much.

With just the bike, barely notice it there. If I had any other option, is take it, but this accomplished what I needed.

As far as hauling just the bike, doesn't bother me any.

For those that wanna give me flack about the bike on the back being too much, there is 700-800lbs of additional cargo inside and....this pic doesn't have the bike, rack, roof rack, spare tire, and golf clubs on the vehicle.

So yep, it was riding kinda low beforehand.

Anyhow, for those curious, it did just fine and didn't give me any issues. Now mind you, I called yesterday early because it was 105+ and the coolant was a bit warmer than I was ok with. It still sat on the gauge right in the middle, but if you look at the vehicle info you can get another temp gauge. It hit 221F and I decided that was enough for the day. The oil started to get warm too, so yesterday was a short travel day.

Because of the abnormal thermal cycle it got to go through, I'm gonna change this oil well before time. It has Kendall race oil, so not really a valid concern, but principle says do it anyways.

I'd like to stress the fact that it drove acceptable, I don't recommend loading it this much, but I didn't exactly have a choice in the matter this time. If I had the time and money to have dealt with it before leaving, yes I would have grabbed a small trailer and done it that way.

Moral of the story, no one died and no one crashed. The rear struts probably are gonna die early because of it....but it's gonna get a coilover lift kit later so who cares lol.
