I just stumbled upon a RENEGADE in Michigan (pics)!

Parked in my friend's parking lot of an apartment complex of all things...

At first I LOVED the renegade, but after seeing it in person, they REALLY need to trim up the side and front of the vehicle! There's tons of unnecessary material in my opinion. The doors are HUGE and look like they are made of flimsy plastic. Is this a body kit??? Also, the roof did NOT have the removable top option. It was stick shift. Rear disc brakes. Vehicle sits lower than I thought it would. I guess I'll have to wait and see the final touched up versions that hit the dealerships.

Anyway, enjoy what I found!

Here's a good photo comparison:

as we can see it's just a bit smaller than a Ford Escape.

well first things first, lets be a bit objective here boys. We've already seen the renegade in production form at Geneva so don't let these spys fool you into thinking Renegade will be something its not (in terms of looks that is). Second, again considering we've seen the Renegade at Geneva, but will be waiting to see the 500X, its possible the renegade skin is being used as a mule for 500X development? Would explain the presence of a stick on US soil...

I'd say what you see is what you get. If you compare those pictures to everything we've seen so far they are pretty much the same. The red one in the banner and the orange TH all have larger tires and the 1"(?) lift, this in it self makes a big difference in the appearance. Look at the 08-10 Patriots and then look at the '11 on after they lifted it an inch made a big defference! Thats why I waited and bought an '11.
Nice pictures thanks for posting!

I completely agree with what you said. It will be interesting to see how the profile looks on the non-Trailhawk models since they will not have the extra inch of lift.

Yup, of course aside from color on the body and wheels. Overall it should stay the same as what we're seeing here, I don't see it changing much.

well we've already seen the Renegade in both limited and the latitude trims since Geneva and there we no qualms until a mule one day showed up. I don't understand why these mule shots are spinning people out when Jeep has ALREADY shown us the final product...
