Will Jeep Renegade be a classic?

I owned my Renegade almost a year now. I like the look of my Jeep. It’s my first subcompact SUV. It looks like a big toy suv. When I first seen the renegade I thought it looked like a futuristic 2 door Jeep Wrangler. I know a lot of people don’t like the look. But my question is do you think the Renegade has a classic design and how long do you think they will make the Renegade?

If by "classic" you mean will it be a collector's item or have any value in the future? Then no, and as much as it sucks it's a mass-produced vehicle, and it won't ever be a collector's item. And as far as how long they'll be made? I'd assume as long as sales are good and the EPA (or foreign equivalent) doesn't allow non-hybrid or electric cars to be sold anymore.

In Australia it may be a "C L A S S I C" in the same vein as the L A D A.
High maintenance leading to low volumes.
Dealers are bending over backwards to DO amazing deals on (DIESEL) Compass.

Sure, it'll be a classic. In the same way the Ford Pinto, Ford Mustang II, Gremlin and the Corvair have become "classics". But in the way of "people actually BOUGHT these" classic...

They may be actually worth something in the future because there probably won't be many still running...

Thanks for that Alex.
I have already contacted them.
An insurance company responded with - contact a Dealer!?
Dealers would not respond to emails.
The Dealer face to face response was - we will wait & see what FCA Australia says!?
Or - what about a Compass? (buy something in our yard - NOT a my17 Renegade!)(my18? my19? NOT available?)

Selling pretty strongly here:

Classic? Could be. After seeing what's classed as such at the Padova the year before last:

Maybe if the Renegade isn't featured as a classic in the future someone will complain to FCA/JeepCares about it?

I don't think many mass-produced cars these days will be classics in the traditional sense. They're electronic, basically computers. I hope to get a good long life out of mine, but I think you need overengineered, mechanical physicality to have a classic in the making. I do think the design is quite reminiscent of cars we might call late classics. The boxiness reminds me of the nineties.
