I can't decide how to replace my damaged rear bumper.

I got a light smack from behind and the bumper cover is definitely looking fugly with a full imprint of the front plate frame and some scrapes and a small crack, but I haven't pulled it to see if the bar underneath was damaged (It probably was, that's its job)

I don't know if I want to just go new bumper cover and the Renegade Ready hitch retrofit to replace the crash bar, as I have a Sport with no options, or spend a little than just the RR kit but less than replacing the cover as well and get the Avid Radius rear bumper. I don't really like their fold out bike rack on the Lexicon and don't need the tire carrier of the Expedition.

Is there a third option for replacing my bumper and gaining a hitch that isn't a UHaul bottom mount that I'm not aware of?

I don't plan, right now, on replacing the front bumper with anything fancy, though it has a few scrapes of its own, so going OEM look seems to make sense but I really like the Radius, I just need another person's opinion. I asked my wife, she couldn't have cared less.

Go with the AVID it looks good and will protect the rear better than stock.

I have similar damage to the right rear of my bumper cover from a driver following too close and not being attentive when I slowed down on the Interstate for road construction. I seriously looked at the AVID. The folks I talked to at AVID were extremely helpful. One thing they told me was that their bumper was not compatible with the WeatherTech mud flaps I have installed on my '15 TH. At this point, I'm still driving around with the scrapes on the bumper cover. It adds character...

Visible damage on my vehicles drives me up the wall.

I didn't mind the scrapes and bumps on my Cherokee when it got to 10-15 years old, but this is a vehicle I bought new two years ago that isn't treated harshly. Keeping it nice is on my agenda for a few years.
