I never did get an eye hook with the car, as I was told it was part of the kit that was removed when I ordered a spare wheel and jack. .
Like you I got the full sized spare. I also had the removable rear tow hitch and park sense.

Hey, not fair. I was shafted. My jack came in a shoddy zip bag, no screwdriver, no polystyrene moulding, and no whatever else you have in that moulding.

Do you know what size are the threads on the toe eye? So if I wanted to get a bolt to fit, what size would I get? How long would it need to be to stick out of the back?
Thanks

Thread is M16x2 - see my OP.
For length, if you want it specifically for the back I'd pull the cover off and measure it. Allow maybe an inch for thread I'd you can only measure to the face of the female threads.

Thanks. I saw the M16x2 in the post and wonder if that was it. I'm not real up on how bolt dimensions are listed - especially if they are metric. Thanks for the clarification.

M = metric
16 = outside diameter of thread in mm
x
2 = pitch of thread in mm.

The pitch can matter as some sizes can be in a coarse or fine variant, lower pitch number is finer.

I think I'm gonna get me some of these:

Need to check if they interfere with FCW+ Radar (I think they do) in which case might just only get one
and then see how easy it is to mount/unmount the red hook from under the car.

Bah. Those hooks go where the FCW+
radar pods live.
