Plows really require a traditional (real) 4x4 system and body on frame design. Plows put a lot of shock/impact to the frame (which the Renegade doesn't have). The Renegade also isn't really a "4x4", it is an AWD system (although aggressive one) that is not suited for that kind of load on the system (heck, the system shuts down to protect itself if it heats up from load as it is... let alone trying to push a massive snow plow). A mechanically locking 4x4 system is what works best for a plow (as it's the most durable/lasting 4x4 systems out there).
This is why most plows are on Wranglers or pick up trucks (both of which have true 4x4 and a full box frame).

I've never seen one, and I'm in Alaska where people put weird stuff on their cars all the time. If, and it's a big if, you really had to, I'd suggest the drag kind that goes into the tow reciever in place of a hitch. That would minimize the shocks to the vehicle and limit how much snow can be moved.

I would definitely discourage it though. Get a cheap ATV and plow on Craigslist.

I have to agree. Don’t try it with a Renegade.

It isn’t recommended to use a plow with a Jeep Liberty due to the short wheelbase and light weight even though it had a true 4x4 system (first gen Liberty).

Get yourself an early 90s XJ if you want to plow with a Jeep.

I've seen a Liberty with a plow on it. Subaru used to in the early 80's. Anything is possible.
