Hey all! I picked up my renegade about a year ago and have liked it so far. Recently I have been running into some issues with the turbo and not feeling like it has the pep it did at first. I some how developed a crack coming off the turbo solenoid and found a boost leak that seems to have helped once fixed. Anyways thought this might be a good place for some insight into this vehicle. Thanks! Matt

One thing about the turbo engine is the hoses and their connection points coming off the air filter housing are weak. I had the down-turbo vacuum line connector snap on mine when all I was doing was readjusting the air filter housing and tightening it down. Rather than allowing a little flex, the connection point allowed for zero flex. This is a spot that will affect performance, when my PVC tubing patchwork came loose I noticed decreased performance and eventually got an engine code. If you can keep such mishaps from happening though, it is a fun little engine!
