Tachometer Splatter is Missing

I have a 2016 TH that I purchased in March. Love it. However, something has gone missing. Tonight, I noticed the splatter over the red line zone of the tachometer is missing. Instead of the splatter (or mud) graphic, I now just have the typical red marker lines that designate the red zone. I rarely put my foot into it when I'm driving. Is that the reason the red zone has lost the splatter, since I don't rev it that high?

I have been Googling for an answer for the past hour and can't find anything about anyone losing their splat. I might end up disconnecting the battery for a reset to see if it will return. But, I wanted to post this here first since I can't find any other threads about it.

Thank you to everyone that replies!

At night with the lights on you don't see the splatter. Should be there during the day.

Thank you Fradaj! I hadn't noticed that before. I thought it strange that there was no mention of it in my Google search. Hopefully, this thread will soon show up in Google for the next person that realizes their splat is missing.

The question has been asked and answered previously here, so I guess your search didn't use the exact same words. Google can be hit and miss at times.
