Backup Camera

Hi. I was wondering if anyone out there has had an issue with backup camera not coming on? I have a 2018 Renegade Latitude which I have only had for a year and the backup camera just went black yesterday and still didn't work this morning. It's still under warranty but would rather not deal with the dealership unless I have to....

Get some soap,and water and make sure it's clean first, ours did this and a mud dobber had built nest over camera ��

Cool Backup Camera issues

Hi,
I have a similar problem with the backup camera. It comes on but the reference lines do not show up. They keep going off. I have gone into settings at least five times to activate the lines. They work for awhile and then disappear again. What is causing the change? I have never disconnected the battery. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks tmiller782

Hi there...So I ave an update from my June post on the back up camera. I ended up also having an audio not available code pop up so in to the dealership it went on July 2. They decided both problems were probably a bad radio so ordered me a new one which because of the warranty took over a month to come in. Yesterday 8/20/2019 I finally got it in to have the radio replaced. Dropped it off at Adamson Motors Rochester MN at 7:30am received a text at 3:30pm that it was done. Picked it up at 5 went to the store went to back out of my parking spot and backup camera was black....today got in it to head to lunch and the audio problem was back like it was never fixed. Called the dealership and the manager basically gave me a speech about having to deal with the factory about the warranty. My Renegade is just over a year old and olny has 11000 miles on it and I baby it. What can I do?

Mine ended up going in and my entire radio was replaced...next same issues came up. What year is your Renegade?
