I have a jeep renegade longitude 66 plate
what is he button for near the rear view mirror with a car with like wifi in it and a hook at the end of a car

Maybe the OP doesn't have an Owners Manual and doesn't know it can be downloaded....

To the OP-

A lot of vehicles for quite a while now come with a sensor that detects when the vehicle is being "tilted", such as someone trying to tow it without your knowledge or trying to steal your tires. That button allows you to disable that feature. The graphic on the button symbolizes that; the Jeep is your vehicle, the hook is a tow hook, the "wifi" signal is the alarm going off.

thanks for that you learn something new everyday not in manual supplied with car even garages couldn't come up with the answer
