AFAIK, Bluetooth in cars is only for audio.

I use the Android Auto app on my phone and it auto launches when I start my Jeep. When I read about plugging it in to the USB and having it show on the radio, I did the "no way !!" and ran outside to my Jeep.

No joy. I guess my model (2017 Latitude) and radio system doesn't support that feature. Oh well.
