|Xopher||I was quite pleased with my 2016 Renegade Sport, although was missing some of the creature comforts I had with my Grand Cherokee. I got a good deal on a 2018 Trailhawk and am actually paying less per month.|

|Aran||I keep vehicles until they're run into the ground, I'm at 21k miles after just over a year of ownership, I'm nowhere near even considering a different vehicle yet.|

|Desertedhawk||My wife got a deserthawk last year, and I loved it so much I started stealing it all the time. When it comes to SUVs, I dont expect them to be very fast. I ended up getting my own renegade, but I opted for the 1.4 liter manual. It's not much faster, but I added a maxpower ECM (which currently doesn't work). I'm hoping once I have the ECM working, I'll have just the right amount of horsepower. The 6 speed is a lot of fun to drive|

|RenegadeSweeney||I have not, but I'm seriously considering a used '15 in Sierra Blue with the 1.4T and 6spd manual. MySky if I find the needle in the haystack. So far they're hard to find, and still out of my price range. In the meantime, I'm looking at Liberty Renegades with a manual and sunroof to possible replace the Element, but I've heard nightmares about the 3.7 V-6.|

Fortunately since buying my used 2016 latitude it hasn't needed dealer service. I'm happy with the vehicle so far and would consider a newer Renegade if they put a more fuel efficient engine in the upcoming years.
Otherwise I plan on keeping this one 4 or 5 years at least.

No, I will not buy another one. I'll keep it, just the same, considering the resale is so poor. There are some really disappointing aspects of this ownership, granted. And, the fact that FCA is a horrible service company and that the dealers are clueless on the vehicle as a whole, is ridiculous.
1) software updates are no longer free at my dealer. Really? REALLY???
2) the SXM unit flat out is the poorest quality reception of any car audio product I have ever owned. And no-one cares, or can even discuss the technical aspects of the system they sell. I consider it out-and-out fraud, plain and simple.
and 3) they cannot make this SOB stop jerking on take-off or brake release. I am the only one in the family who will drive it.
Heck... maybe I will sell it and take the loss, but NEVER will I buy a new FCA product again, period. Even if @JeepCares wants to help, the dealers have no interest or motivation to help, I always get the 'up sell' press to trade it in vs fix it right. They call them 'stealers' for a reason.

NO. I will not buy a FIAT made again.
The only thing I like about my Renegade is it is a stick shift and ugly looking >>>> but lack of low torque!
These are my other choices in the future:
4.) the old FJ Cruiser
