I low-balled a guy on Craigslist for his brand new Yakima RailGrabs, Roundbars, locks, and fairing and he took $150! These are normally $460.

Picked them up and installed them on the way to a state park.

He was heartbroken when I installed them. He sold them at such a discount because he didn't understand how to properly fit them to his vehicle and was tired of trying. Felt bad for the guy, but SCORE!

Ordering window vent visors and a rear cargo mat tonight. Also on the list are a set of rear floormats (I have weather techs in the front that I bought at the dealership), a doggy seat cover for the backseat (using an old blanket for now) and some of the jeep logo towel seat overs for the front for summer. I suspect the black leather will not be fun to sit on in shorts after baking in the sun, lol. Also found some cute little jeep logo sunglass holders online that clip to the visors. Will save some precious space in the one little cubbyhole we have, haha! Always some "upstart" costs with a new vehicle, but it sure is fun :)

Gave her her legal identity (Oregon Wine Country license plates)

Cross-bars (Rhino Rack Vortex StealthBar Black 2 Bar Roof Rack)

Basket (Rhino Rack XTray Small) The "X" on the side of the tray is similar to the "X" on my taillights.

I took lots of pictures of the cross-bar and rack installation. I plan to document the process. The instructions were okay, but the XTray had just pictures, no words. I also have a recommended alternative approach to attaching the straps on the cross-bars. I think it's better as I did manage to cut myself on the edge of the strap when installing the first foot. I'll put a post about the process somewhere else in the forum.

A couple of Jeep paw print stickers as it's my dawg car!

Also a bath.

That looks SO good, and the Oscar Mike sets it off a treat! :)

Oh, and back on topic, ferreting around in the garage, I found some LED 501 bulbs, so popped them in the lights in the boot.
Not hugely brighter, but for the five minutes it took, a worthwhile improvement.

The windows on any UK vehicle from the b pillar back can be totally blacked out. However the front door windows have to let in 72% (if I remember correctly) light. Should you tint the front door windows too dark and you get a tug from the traffic rozzers, they can make you remove the tint there and then at the roadside. I have seen it done around two or three years back. At night the view out of the front door windows will be reduced due to the too dark tint. Also the rozzers cannot see if the front seat occupants are wearing a seat belt or if the driver is using a mobile phone while driving.
