Hurray! You made it to 12000 miles and have exceeded the average annual mileage for a driver in the UD. Let us know how your Renegade is doing and if you needed any unscheduled maintenance or repairs. Help out your fellow forum members, and fill out the poll. Make a post, and summarize your tale of joy or woe as well.

Yup, passed 12k a few weeks ago. I have run into a rather unusual problem. I used the remote start in my TrailHawk before I hopped in my car this morning it was around 36 degrees (2.2 Celsius). The seat heater and steering wheel heater kicked on automatically. I really appreciated this..

Until the cabin temperature equalized and I started sweating in the seat. I tried pushing the buttons to shut off the seat heater and the steering wheel heater. They did nothing. In order to shut them off I had to pull over and shut the vehicle off. Since I had keyless entry I switched to ACC (pushed the start button without depressing the brake pedal). I made sure the buttons were off, then started the renegade.

Fiat, I REALLY need the ability to shut the seat heater and steering wheel heaters off when they are no longer needed/comfortable.

We're at 12,500 on ours, bought it in March 2015. No real problems, we just had the "squeaky" brakes fixed, along with all of the software updates for bcm, tcm, etc. About the only thing we've had to do was change the oil and get an alignment.

Im at 13,950 miles now. I have had a new valve body and sensor replaced in transmission before 5k roughly 4500 miles that was replaced and out of services for a month. then 3 weeks later I had 7500 miles on it and had to bring it back in and they replaced the shifting assembly. So my jeep still has all the same problems, jeep still wont buy my lemon back. ive brought it back to multiple dealerships and have been treated like trash. they drive the car 4 miles calls me and says nothing is wrong you got till 5pm today to get it cant pick it up today. still waiting for my lemon law bull sit to settle...

I am not a fan of both steering wheel and seated heating. I find it very uncomfortable.

Just passed 13k, no real major issues with it yet. Had to have some body work done after someone ran into it in a parking lot. Other than that I have had in the shop twice for an alignment, which seems odd for a new car but sounds like a common problem on this forum. Will be getting the transmission program update this week to see if that helps with the hard shifts.

Approaching a full year on my Trailhawk. Bought March 31, 2015. Build date of February 2015. Just past 40,500 miles now. Very happy with it, the ride is great and am getting 28-30 MPG. Problems include transmission replacement at 32,800 miles and tires replaced at 34,000 due to a lot of excessive tire noise. Tread depth was still 8/32th, just a couple of tires had broken belts so they thumped at lot going down the road.

Must have missed this thread. I'm closing in on 16,000 miles now. No major issues.

Weird. I can push the buttons and turn mine off manually with no problem.

Have owned Silver Hawk, as of 19Apr2016, for a year now has over 12,000 miles averaging around 25.5 mpg and has never been in for any unscheduled maintenance, All scheduled & unscheduled maintenance has been done by yours truly, 2 oil & filter changes, tire rotation, 2 flat tires both in left rear, dent & gouges in right rear quarter panel (complements from a trail bully while on Fordyce Trail last September) repaired and painted, door lock issue fixed with a computer reboot.
Silver Hawk, as a daily driver with weekend 4x4 duties, has performed flawlessly both on and off road.

I just hit 13k on mine... march 2015 build but didn't buy it until the summer.... No major issues, typically software flashes and little gremlins here and there (i expected those since it was a new model). Jeep replaced a couple window trims...and one complete window! due to rubber failing, or cracking. I drive it hard so the tires are half through their life span (continental)... Jeep also paid to have my brakes rotors turned down due to premature warping.. probably from all the hills and my driving :)

Just turned 12,004 miles today on my black on black fully loaded 2016 Trailhawk minus Mysky and the Beats stereo. Two oil changes and no problems. I am getting 23.8 mpg. I picked it up 12/15/2015 after a custom order and four month wait. I love driving it. Thankyou to everyone here for their educational tips and advice.

Just booked the first service for the 28th July - 11,400 miles done since the Jeep was delivered on 12th January... It's been a busy 6 months !

I've manually done the download and software update from 15.21.37 to 16.05.32 using a USB stick - but the Satnav maps need updating...

Only thing to report is that the Temperature setting for the passenger air-con appears to have lost some of it's "segments" - and doesn't display the temperature correctly - so it's been reported for fixing!

Average MPG is 50.3 - running in nicely :)

Service done - nothing to report, other than the Air-con dials have had to be ordered in as a replacement as they still aren't displaying properly.

Software updates done to the ECU, but none on the Beats Audio system.

Only a small niggle, but they reset all of the trip mileage readings - I was keeping one as a total mileage reading!

I am just over 13,00 miles now with no troubles at all. 2015 Trailhawk, purchased in April 2015 (January 2015 build).

I have three vehicles to drive so it takes me a while to put miles on this one.

Just passed 13K, Sirius radio stopped working, non-stop acquiring signal message, brought in to ID problem. Couldn't fix that day so had to bring it back a week later to replace antenna, which took two days. Didn't correct the problem, now they say wiring needs replacement but took two weeks to order. Still haven't been able to setup that service as my latest transmission problem took priority over my radio. And even though my transmission momentarily failed then locked into 7th gear until the car was parked, the dealer has found no issue with my vehicle. I am a currently less than happy renegade owner. :(

12220miles now....UK diesel Trailhawk, purchased new in March 2016. Apart from the abs control module being replaced after a few thousand miles everything has been fine. Still really enjoy driving it and so much easier to navigate narrow country roads and park in car parks than my Grand Cherokee.
