If affected the dealer will reprogram the PCM, TCM and install a new catalyst. The probem is the dealer has none in stock and it may take months to get some. Already had the engine block replaced, and now the catalyst. If this keeps up I'll end up with practically a new vehicle 🤣

I had mine done last week and it still stinks a little from the new catalyst. I've looked underneath and I don't see anything new. Should I be able to see the new catalyst? 2016 Trailhawk.

The catalyst is built into the exhaust manifold so I suspect the exhaust manifold had to be replaced.

I have a 2016 1.4L and there weren't any recalls according to the Mopar recall page.

I just got mine replaced…it’s called a maniverter. Took 3 hours because of some stubborn bolts. Replaced manifold and converter behind it, sensors, heat shields and reprogrammed it. Had a smell for a couple days as it burned off.
