2017 Renegade Desert Hawk

I see that Jeep has come out with the Desert Hawk for 2017. Looks like its essentially a Trail Hawk with a few more creature comforts. I did notice that it says that it comes with factory rock rails to protect the door sill area. I've looked at the pictures on Jeeps website and it really doesn't look any different than the pictures of the Trailhawk. I know its not available until January but I was wandering if anyone seen any pictures of the new rock rails? I also read that the Desert Hawk is supposed to come with better Falken AT tires than what come standard on the Trail Hawk but in the pictures they look like identical Falken HT tires. Anyone on here that has any info on this?

Rock rails aside, it marks the only way one can purchase a Mojave Sand colored Renegade in 2017.

Get some posts under your belt, and post pics of the rock rails! Like where/how they mount up. Did you by chance get the hyper green??? I want that.

They look like they wrap around the bottom seal plate and mount inside the door opening and front and rear wheel well they look o be about an 1/8 thick or so

I also bought a new Desert Hawk in Mojave Sand. I have had it for a month. This is the second Renegade I have owned. I bought the first one right when they come out. I love the Desert Hawk

hey guys....you got the deserthawk...lucky guys...I wanted it and I test drove a trail hawk afterwards someone else jumped in it and never came back...they said they sold it...so they gave me $500 more discount .....its all right...but I like your star on the back and the rock sliders...what diameter is the star..... is it....5"....10"...let me know and enjoy....you got a collectible in a few years...thanks
