9 month old Jeep won't turn over, only in cold weather Battery is fine. sounds like it's not getting gas... when I turn it off there's a hissing sound coming from the passenger rear. When I try to start it again, the brake pedal is stiff....
It's been to the dealer 2 times......When they finally get around to checking it, it turns over !!!
VERY frustrating.

If it's not turning over (cranking):

Recheck the battery. Check the battery connection.
Check the earthing strap connections.
Check the starter motor.

The hissing sound is coming from the Brake Power Booster. Evident by the hissing sound when you turn it off and stiff brake pedal when you go to restart it.

With the engine running, put your head down by the brake pedal and then the Renegade off, you will probably hear the hissing sound at the brake pedal push rod where it goes through the firewall (Floor).
