Needed to replace my tires and the stock on my Renegade was 235/45 R19. Guy at my local shop suggested that I try the 245/45 as they didn't have any thing else in stock that was close besides some very expensive run flats. I did let them put them on and no sign of any issues thus far just a little nervous seems a little close to everything else. Is this not a big deal? Do I need to worry? BTW first post love my Renegade just don't want her to get hurt! Thanks in advance!

and enjoy the forum!

It just made you Jeep a little taller. It is one size up.
I also replaced my run flats on the 80th anniversary, Had 2 flats on the back, Had one fixed at Jeep and another on the road at a tire place. They have to do the tire repair from the inside. Both tires still had a slow air leak about 5 pounds a week after the repair. Found out most the time you have to replace them after a flat. Not impressed with the run flats. So I put Michelin Defender LTX. M/S on they come in the 235/45R all season rate for 60,000 miles. You can get them at most good tire shops or on Amazon even. A lot smoother ride and less noise.

Forgot to mention you need to have a spare tire and jack if you do this. The air compressor and goo that comes with the renegade, is not very good.
