The best way I can describe it, is it sounds like someone shifting with no clutch. It does not do it with traction control on in 4x4 or any mode and it only seems to do it when the truck is more or less stationary and spinning. I have not seen ut one other video with this issue.

Oh i took it to the dealer and described the problem and they tried to get it to replicate on a hard surface but it will not the tires have to be spinning so they refuse to do anything.

My first reaction is it sounds like wheel hop from wheel spin. Might be useful to get video form outside the car next time you can reproduce it.

Even with traction control off the Renegade uses the brakes to engage and disengage the wheel that is slipping. Well at least that is my understanding of the Active Drive what I would do is have another dealership take a look at your Renegade and show them the video as well. Video proof is a lot easier to verify than just word of mouth.
