In some early interior shots taken from outside the tailgate the central section of the rear seat split has cupholders of the same shape/form as those between the front seats. I haven't seen it on any Renegade since. Anyone know which spec or package it belons to? My two kids would need cupholders or the rear floor will be like a pool of juice.

From what I've read the 40/20/40 rear seat is standard on the Limited and is optional on the Latitude & Trailhawk. Not available on the Sport.

Remember everything we have read, seen or heard of is from Europe. What the US and Canada will get we still don't know all the details.

Haven't noticed them.
But the worst case scenario, you can look into getting some universal cup holders from the local auto parts store and/or walmart. I remember seeing a type that hooks into the area the door panel and window meet, but that was a good couple years ago, i'm sure there has to be something universal that's easily accessible for your two kids if something hanging off the door panel won't do it.

It's actually the opposite here in Italy. The seat splitted 40/20/40 is exclusive on the trailhawk and it's even not available on the others as option.

Thats also a shot from Geneva, we don't know if that will make the jump across...
No we prefer 40/60 Split and have an extra 5th Seat in back ... otherwise the Kids don´t have to drink and eat in Car anyway ... there is Breakfast, Dinner, Supper that´s it anyway ... ;)>:D:D

If you look in the LA Auto Show thread there are a bunch of pics that I posted of it. It's very functional, and very nice :)
So what is it good for anyway? I am sitting always in Front left side behind the Wheel ... passengers on the cheap places just have to be quiet or they go by foot ... you really let them little Monsters get within 5 m around your car with icecream in their creepy hands ... not in my world ... ;):D>:D0:)

Lol. Exactly this kind of attitude is why they dropped cup holders from the interior options of the '43 Panzer tank. No complaints till then. >:D

PS: My hausfrau agrees with you.

Did anyone ever figure out which models have the 40/20/40 split rear seat? Is there a way to tell? I know a dealer by me has 3 trailhawks, but only one has the 40/20/40 split seats and it's not listed under options, in fact under interior it says '60-40 Folding Split-Bench', but the photos taken by the dealer show the 40/20/40

!

That's an amazing find Sharp, for me at least.

I've resigned myself to waiting for placing an order. But while I've gotten over not being able to option a Trailhawk (on Jeep's site) with the Advanced Tech Group, it really kind of bummed me out to see the site show 40/20/40 not Optional on it (attached).

But you've given me hope! Or at least those dealer pics have.

Quick Edit, The Jeep site shows the 40/20/40 listed under the 'Popular Equipment Group' and 'Premium Leather Group'. I feel like I'm crazy in thinking that wasn't always there.

Ok, I see now. On the dealer website they don't mention any options, but when I look at the window sticker it has the 'Popular Equipment Group'

Thanks for that info :)

I have just checked my UK spec OE which is a Limited with extra's and clearly states in the brochure 40/20/40 rear seat with trunk pass-thru and armrest and my car is 60/40 and so is my dealers show room OE?
I have just logged a query direct with Jeep Customer Services and they are going to come back to me?
I feel another goodwill gesture coming again, they have to notify of specification changes to each specific market.

Normal limiteds have the 40/20/40 but The OE is a special edition so all bets are off on what that has in it.

Here in the states the limited has the 40/20/40 standard, the trailhawk and the Latitude have the 60/40 standard and they can both option up to the 40/20/40 via the popular equipment group along with the 9 speaker group, power drive seat, and dual zone a/c.
