Hi all
Starting this new thread to give you all some info after 5000 Km, the good and the bad:

My Renegade is a Limited Black on Black that I picked up in February 2015

Bugs and issues - :nerd:

1. Sometimes the Lane Sense sensor and and frontal collision sensors are not functioning, then once I stop the car and restart it all comes back to normal... Software issue most likely, although I already went into the Dealer for a software update.

2. In regards to software bugs, I would like to mention that I have not experienced the Lock issue on mine and neither the Auto-light button issue that drains the battery... few

3. I find odd that there are no controls on the steering wheel to change the radio station, I can seek stations, but cannot change the favorites...
Anyone has an idea?

4. I have been using the Stop/Start function for about a week, at first it seemed to work fine, but now when I stop the car, the engine stops but always restart automatically after about 10 seconds also I have not let go the brake pedal or hit the clutch... If anyone has a clue... But most be another software bug...

So far thats it for the bugs

The Good stuff:

I took it off roading for the first time back in March on a trail on top of the French Alps, and I was pleasantly surprise with its capabilities in the mud and hilly terrain. I had a Wrangler in the early 90's when I was in College (Hofstra University NY) and thats my basis of comparaison.

The overall comfort of the car is good, I took it for a trip to the French riviera, about 5 hours for where I live, and I have to say that I was not so tired at the end of the trip.

The Bad stuff:

So far nothing much except for the software issues, and maybe I would say that the gear box is a little stiff...

That it. let me know if anyone has a solution to my issues, of have any other after 5000 Km.

On the back side of the steering wheel, The audio buttons have 3 positions, Top, Bottom and middle. On the left side, press the middle of the switch (there's a bump there) and that should cycle through the preset stations. The middle position on the right side, selects the source.

Thanks for your response Rammer, however, on my Jeep renegade, when I press the middle button on the left side at the back of the steering wheel, it changes from FM to AM and vice versa...

My jeep is a European model, maybe the software parameters changes from a continent to another....:crying:

Who is listening to AM radios anymore...

Switching from AM to FM is so none crucial, I cannot believe they gave that button that function.

Looking into the settings, i could not find how to change that...

That's what the right side middle position does on ours, but i think it scrolls trough Am, FM, Sirius and AUX. I'll have to check.

Yes, the right middle button scrolls through AM, FM, Sirius, BT (if a phone is paired), and USB (if plugged in). I haven't yet plugged into the AUX yet. The left middle button scrolls through your pre-programmed stations.

I can't tell if it would be different across the pond or if it is possible to re-program the buttons.

And, believe it or not, I do listen to AM radio on my 20-minute commute to work and sometimes home (I get news, weather, and other good info). But I'll listen to music most other times.
