If they didn't get a bath treatment for corrosion inhibition, I'd be shocked. Given environmental requirements for auto paint these days, you do NOT count on it for corrosion protection.
Also given that they have repeatedly stated in public it can ford 19" of water, they better not be taking shortcuts with corrosion protection.
Also there's not a car in the us that I know of that doesn't ship with a corrosion warranty. Jeeps is 36 months for ANY sheet metal on the vehicle, and 5 years/100k miles for any external, painted sheet metal. There are limitations, but they are more or less the usual.
The bar is set pretty high on this one in the US market, they would be committing suicide if they sold a rust bucket.
