I know they said they had to remove the skid plates from the Trailhawk on display because they needed to run power wires for the display... Trust me, it will be better...first time i'm seeing the undercarriage,
dont like what i see,
jeep and good 4x4's are known for streamlined underside. bolts, brackets, etc.. all tucked away, minimizing things getting bumped and snagged,
that does not look like a 4x4 undercarriage to me.
it is too soon to tell,I know they said they had to remove the skid plates from the Trailhawk on display because they needed to run power wires for the display... Trust me, it will be better...
Thats funny cause even some sedans and coupes from other car makers have cases that allow you to do this. Weird. The one thing I don't like about my Patriot and now looking at these photos is there is no where to use a floor jack to lift the whole axle off the ground. These things have aluminum third members which every body says stay away from with a floor jack because the case won't hold the weight. All my other jeeps I could have all 4 wheels in the air on 4 jack stands in 5 minutes by myself. They are making it harder to do your own maintaince all the time and that is a big selling point for me.
The more skid plates the better!needs some more skid plates
4wd lock in a car of this size.. epic
