Alfaodb help

So my 2022 renegade came with most of the options. One thing I wanted to add was adaptive cruise control. I got a sgw bypass from amazon and an mx+ programmer and alfaodb. I was able to connect to the bcm and enable adaptive cruise but my display started to throw all kinds of errors like transmission in red, hill assist, power steering in red. It does run and drive but it won't shift out of first gear. I took it to the dealer to have the bcm reset. Is anyone able to help me to get the proper settings or is in Indiana to help me program it.

not sure you can just add the buttons and change the computer for adaptive cruise control to work as you will also need the front mounted radar / sonar (not sure the correct terminology) as it is separate from the lane assist and parking sensors. the wiring harness may also be different as well to account for all of the required components.

I have all the sensors, I have forward collision, lane assist, and blind spot monitoring. I found this programs a little different then my Ram. I have a person who is going to help me with the conversion later this month when I get a grey cable required for the programming. I ordered the cable it just hasn't come in yet. I also ordered the correct adaptive cruise buttons since my right button seems to be wrong for the US market.
This is how it should be done.
1- Backup your configuration
2- Enable the option you want
3- Do a proxy alignment.

I found it out the hard way. I am going to do the exact steps you suggested the next time I try it.
I got the jeep back from the dealer. They charged me 134 to restore the bcm. I'm going to backup first before I try to do it again. The buttons I bought weren't exactly correct. I have ordered the correct part for the renegade. The original one I bought seemed to be for uk renegades. The far right buttons is to set top speed. On the US button it is increase distance of follow.
