I had a JK Wrangler before I bought my Rene (no I didn't trade it in, I had to let it go a few years back when I became "financially indisposed".
Anyway I still have some leftover parts/mods that I wonder if they would fit (or fit with minor modifications).

Specifically, some HID headlights and foglights. They appear to be a standard size.
Anybody know if they will fit the Rene?

Any thoughts or interest on other JK parts that might fit the Rene?

The Wrangler uses a standard 7" round headlight. I have a light housing from a JK that I can photo. If someone wants to pull a light housing from their Renegade and get a photo (front and back), we can compare and see if it looks right.

If this works, it opens up a world of possibilities such as this...

I had these on my JK... JW Speaker Headlights
They were a bit pricey, but well worth it. I think they would look incredible if they'll fit the Renegade.

Headlights - Wrangler to Renegade??

I was actually trying to avoid that - 'cuz it looks really complicated, not nearly as simple to get to and remove as the wrangler was. There is a thread on here that implies that you have to partially disassemble the front end to get it out.

HOWEVER, when the weather starts to cool off a bit and I've got some spare time - I'll do it.

It was 96 degrees outside today - add another 4 degrees for being in my garage... Well you get the idea.
