Took mine in 7/31/19 for the fan recall and oil change. Informed the dealer that a/c wasn't blowing with much velocity, even cranked on high. Service guy called and said they found what appeared to be a rodent was up in the dash. They discovered a taco sauce packet dragged up into the ducts. The informed me that they will have to dismantle the entire dashboard to make sure everything else is cleaned up. This wasn't a covered warranty item of course, but my insurance will pay for anything over the deductible - It's been a week now and the dealer hasn't even come up with an estimate of the labor costs. The insurance company needs that amount before they can proceed. I've been without a car, had a loaner - but insurance won't cover those costs and I don't want to pay another $35 a day.

I'm leasing the Renegade now through Chrysler - anybody aware of any options, since I'm leasing? I reached out to Chrysler Financial and they just pointed me back to the dealer.

I hope the dealer isn't milking me for insurance.

yea $2200.00 to replace lines to fuel tank. most of jeep wiring and other lines are organically wrapped . had to pull rear seats, drop the fuel tank and other parts to replace line. jeep came shipped from NY with nesting mice. imo if a jeep has set on a lot for a while, check it closely before purchasing
i did not wait for the insurance company to inspect, just MAKE SURE the dealer documents everything on the work order, then the insurance company will not hassle you for the payout

Told the dealer wanted a complete inspection from head to toe, including the engine compartment for any other rodent damage. Insurance company is working with the dealer.
