I'd like to get the Rene off road there. Been there lots of times with my Liberty and there are good trails for a stock Rene to do with skid plates and tow hooks. It's about 2 hours south east of Chicago area - about 30-45mins from Lafayette, IN. I am thinking Memorial Day weekend or sometime in June, depending on interest.
Any one?

I would like to take mine off road somewhere. But being a Latitude with no skid plates (addable), TH low range (or, lower gearing), tow hooks, higher approach angle bumpers, etc., I have not found a mild enough venue that I thought I could get into, and back out!

They do have some more mild sand dunes to play on, I wouldn't worry too much about not having skid plates at all for that section. Just a hitch would be helpful. Basically like driving on a beach.
