Backup up camera issue

Hi,
I have a problem with the backup camera. It comes on in the display when the car is shifted to reverse, but the reference lines do not show up. They keep going off. I have gone into settings at least five times to activate the lines. They work for awhile and then disappear again for no apparent reason. What is causing the change? I have never disconnected the battery. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks tmiller782

Two good points. I don't think speed is an issue but will think about that if I decide to reset the lines under settings again. My wife usually does the reset so I don't know if she hits "Done". Will have to pay more attention. Guess I will try to reset again tomorrow. I was going to wait for another reset to see if the lines reappear on there own. However, I'n curious about "done" so will try that tomorrow.

If speed did cause them to disappear then next time reverse is in use wouldn't they come back? Also the lines never show up at all when they go away. It is not like they appear and then go off after hitting 8 mph.

Try resetting the stereo unit.
With the radio on:
Press and hold the Power button and the Enter button at the same time for 10 to 15 seconds then release.
The system will do a hard reset (power off and then back on) in about 10 seconds.
When it comes back on, go to settings and turn the reference lines back on.
