Welcome!

Yes, from what I can see, P/N 68109570AA is supposed to fit a 2016 Renegade with the 1.4 engine. The (U.S.) site I'm looking at doesn't say anything about just U.S./Canada; and these sites do usually specify if a part is only for certain world markets:

2014-2023 Mopar Battery Cover 68109570AA | Mopar Factory Parts

For what it's worth, there's a different part number for that cover for my 2021 Trailhawk (U.S. version) and 1.3T engine. Here's what the bits look like under my cover -- they're different from yours (my P/N is apparently 68420726AA):

Have you asked a local dealer's parts department?

Many thanks Marek. At least I know I was heading down the right line with that part number! I can't find a single UK supplier who lists that part. Guess I'll have to try a Jeep dealership... Cheers, Chris.
You're welcome.

Hey, a lot of these Mopar parts web sites are actually U.S. dealers who can send stuff by mail-order. I don't see anything on the web site I linked to above that they'll ship internationally. But these guys apparently will, if you contact them:

Or thee guys, who aren't a dealer:

thanks for the links.
You're welcome.

Mopar (MOtor PARts) was originally the parts brand for Chrysler -- back when that was U.S. owned. Chrysler in the U.S. has included Dodge and Jeep, and some other brands. It was one of the traditional "Big Three" American automakers, alongside Ford and General Motors.

Chrysler, going back decades, has had periodic troubles. Now the Italian Stellantis owns Chrysler; so, yes, it's now European-owned.

But it is strange that you're not finding it easy to find parts. A Brit Mopar web site turned you away...? As far as I know, the Renegade has been very popular in Europe; and is still being produced in its EV and hybrid versions (but completely discontinued here in the U.S.). Plus the engines and other bits are common to Fiats and such.

Maybe it's just a problem in the UK...?

Anyway, glad you found that cover.

It's probably just a UK thing. I don't think many people here do their own car maintenance, especially on newer cars
Maybe. The trim piece covering the hub of my Trailhawk's rear wiper fell off somewhere, and I had to order an entire new wiper assembly from one of those sites. About $60, plus about $9 shipping... I don't need the entire assembly, but at least I get a new rubber blade insert...

But like I said, a lot of those Mopar or Jeep parts websites (like the one I used) are actually Jeep dealerships whose parts departments also do Internet sales. Often the prices vary significantly from MSRP -- sometimes 20% less.

Many of their customers are DIYers. But those parts departments also supply parts to independent repair shops... So they're not just in the business of supplying that dealership. In those cases, often there are regular parts runs done by the dealership, making the rounds of local independent shops -- sometimes twice a day to indy shops in-town; or every couple of days to shops farther out..

Don't UK dealers do those sorts of things?
