Anyone with experience in putting on BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 LT225/65R17 tires on a Renegade Trailhawk 4Xe 2020 model - will they fit as-is or is any modifications requried?

According to my local JEEP dealer, they claim these tires might be too close!

Thanks.

They will fit with no mods however they are a very close fit with about 1/4" clearance from the spring perch and shock tower.
Also at about 11 pounds heavier than stock they may be a bit to heavy for the Renegades suspension.
But they will fit and should be a good tire for off road use.

Many thanks for your quick guidance. I was also looking at BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A 225/60R17 - these have been recommended by my JEEP dealer as strong alternative (though not as solid for off-road drive compared to the all-terrain version). In case you would have any other suggestions to "all-terrain tires" (which would also fit my original 17" alloy wheels) then please do suggest, greatly appreciated - thanks.

I suggest the Parelli Scorpion AT/Plus 225x65R17.
I'm runing the Parelli Scorpion AT/Plus 225x65R17 on my 2015 Trailhawk.
They have preformed very well for me both on and off road.

I'm Running the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 LT225/65R17 on my 2016 Trailhawk in stock form
Unless the newer model have significantly shorter struts they come nowhere close to the spring perches and I have no clearance issues otherwise.

225/65R17 tires on a Renegade Trailhawk 4Xe
I certainly don't want to second-guess you... But why do you want to go with 225 tires? What kind of offroading are you going to be doing, living in Denmark? And what is the OEM size on a Trailhawk 4Xe?

My 2021 Trailhawk here in the U.S. came standard here with 215/65R17 tires. I had the dealer upgrade them to something a bit more all-terrain than what jeep was providing at the time; so I've got Falken WildPeak A/T Trail tires in the same size:

They're not quite as aggressive as other all-terrain tires, but they've been fine here in the Colorado mountains:

And I don't have to worry about clearance or rubbing or speedometer errors...

I have the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W in 225/65R17 also. No fitment issues on my Trailhawk. They've been great in the snow, which is what I was looking for. I haven't tried them off-road yet.
This has also been my experience...I had the Falken's installed 225/65 R17. All good. It looks close to the strut but I have not heard any rubbing or issues.
