Hiya!

So I'm going to pick up my white Renegade today

the first thing I will be doing is looking to swap the chrome Jeep emblems for black as I see in some photos for Trailhawks. Does anybody have a good source for buying these ensuring they are the proper fit? I've seen several on Ebay, but they seem to be for Cherokees...granted they might fit fine.

I'd rather not plastidip them.

As for the black Jeep emblem, they're a dime a dozen, you just have to shop-around for the most reasonable price. I think it's Mopar part number 68185492AA (BLACK "JEEP" EMBLEM)

You could probably just paint them yourself, I bet it would be a lot cheaper.

Those links are great! I did finally get mine yesterday and it looks like the rear and hood emblems are slightly different. The one on the rear has a black plastic around border around it which I'm still figuring out if that means anything for the emblem itself. I'm wondering if the ones above would work for both ends of the vehicle.

Painting would be more affordable for sure, and I haven't totally ruled it out. But I'm not THAT confident I would do a great job with it. Plus putting them back on the car seems difficult since they aren't just one emblem. Can't beat OEM when you're a perfectionist about that stuff like I am.

Here's an ebay listing for both the front and back as a resource. I saw a guy in another thread used the Cherokee ones. Definitely not cheap, but would probably look the best. I'd prefer matte black, so I might attempt painting them myself first. Hmmm.

Yeah it's quite a common thing to do due to how easy and cheap it is to do. Next step up is wrapping, harder but can be better in some cases. The wide color selection makes it a really attractive option.
