No this is not the DV+ diverter, however that can be added to this setup with extended bolts and it would go in between the blue thing and the black plastic thing

I was gonna say, the 2009 VW 2.0T use a very similar looking piece to create sound. Sounds similar. Cool!

So, I just installed the black ADJUSTABLE Madness Autoparts BOV plate. I'm hearing the "whoosh" the entire time I accelerate. Why is this happening? Any thoughts? Do I have a major boost leak?
Also, my 1.4 turbo 6sp has lost all torque in only 2nd gear since I've added the Adjustable BOV plate :/

Yep. Huge boost leak because the valve is stuck open. That is where your torque is going.
