Open all your doors and check for little blue pieces of tape on the bottom of each door. They should not be there. If the dealer did the PDI properly you will see nothing but little vents at the bottom. The tape was added at the factory to stop moisture from condensing inside the doors during shipment. If you leave them on your door cannot drain properly and water will collect inside your doors. Since some dealers don't know what they are doing they may have forgot to remove the tape.

There's a thread here that has complaints about water sloshing out of the doors when opening them after it rains. I wonder if this is related... My drain holes are open and it's been raining HARD all day (for the first time in weeks) and I've not the wave of water on my feet all.

I think it is related. The problem is that some dealers do a minimum of effort for the PDI even though they get paid to do it. Some are very proficient. I put this out there because someone somewhere will have the tape on there and won't know that it should not be there.

I thought in codev's original post he was saying that the dealer added those pieces of tape to his Renegade because he was complaining of a wind noise issue.
This tape was his dealer's "solution". (Not saying there was nothing wrong with his door because it obviously had issues and missing parts) but I don't think it had the tape strips to start with?

And this post by @EricM shows how the doors SHOULD look:

Did yours have this tape on it, royalblue?

My doors do not have tape. However I questioned my dealer tech and he indicated that tape is originally on the doors from the factory and that the PDI says to remove it. Whether it is blue or green he did not say. Again the only reason I mention this is to alert people to check.
