Dust dirt or debris embedded in the pads, abnormal ware to the pads, lack of lube to the caliber guide pins, bent caliber guide pins. lack of anti squeal lube or no anti squeal shims, and my number one cause of bake squeal and noise is cheep pads.

Had brakes done a year ago. No issues, but now a year later, I'm hearing a squeal when I take foot off brake. It goes away. I took vehicle to Midas, they saw nothing wrong. Anyone have a clue?
