Dealer ordering system showing a weird status ("shipped to body vender") which I think may just be a holding status so they don't show "in transit" on our websites.

However, this is a quick breakdown of the 5 coming our way in Northern Vermont:

-2015 Jeep Renegade Limited White- MSRP: $30,420
9 Speaker System - $495
Passive Entry - $295
Safety/Security 1 - $595
Nav/Sirius - $1245

2.4L Engine - $1400

That means one suffered body damage I believe.

When I went on tour in Long Beach to see where the MINI's land and it was an interesting site. They go through an inspection and most of the stuff that gets repaired is body damage. One MINI, from what I understand, had the whole drivers door caved in and they had to replace the door and as a result it had to be discounted when it arrived at the dealer.

Which, the white trailhawk? I don't know, if you subtract the options on the black TH's MSRP is similar to the $27K for the white one... or is there something I've missed?

That is the status that every inbound Renegade in the country is showing regardless of dealership which is why I don't think it is related to damage. Also, I have seen this status on Wrangler Rubicons that have AEV parts on them which is why I think it is just a place holder.

Made an error, one of the optioned out Trailhawks is white

I don't which one. But though the terminology is different than MINI, it is similar. Anything that has to do with the body could mean just going out for a wash to repair/ replacing body panels to even scrapping the car.. and FCA could use it just for hold. I'm just going off of what I saw and learned. It would be cool if FCA did the same thing to give tours.

I'm sure things are different with every car maker, but with MINI they had different sections for different jobs. Stuff ranged from inventory, customs, body repair, adding dealer options, over all checks like oil, coolant, battery charge etc. and final prep before dealer receives it. It took MINI anywhere to a week to two weeks before a car was released depending on load and what they had to do.

I would probably go for the first choice:

Reason being it's pretty much what I want besides the color. (Rather the Anvil or Mojave Sand)

But which Renegade do you think will sell first out of this order this? Lowest price, highest price, best options?

difficult to say because it really is buyer specific. Then again, these could all already be spoken for?

Willy Racine, any plans to order ones with MySky power roof? Keep us posted when you have an ETA I will probably take a ride up to look at the new jeeps anyway!

That status sounds similar to Subaru's where they ship the body over and put axles/tires on once it hits the port.

seems like sacrilege for Jeep to build a "trail rated" vehicle that is not open top... just saying heritage and all.
