The seats remind me of what I had in a Corvette.
It took some time, but they finally formed to my frame.....

I'm hoping the same thing will happen in the Jeep...
If not, I'll throw on some sheepskin covers and that should help it out....

The driver's seat in my Trailhawk fits my body perfectly.

But everybody has a different body shape; that's what the test drive is for. ;)

Has anyone noticed how uncomfortable the standard bucket seats are in the Trailhawk? I didn't realize it during the test drive, but after a few weeks it's become incredibly unbearable!
What sort of things are uncomfortable? Maybe there are adjustments you can make. Also, leather or cloth? And 9 way adjustable or standard? Seat comfort was important to me in my choice - I didn't even bother to drive the Mazda I looked at because the seat was too narrow for me.

Mine is the standard cloth seat that comes with the base trailhawk.

The discomfort I'm getting in my car may be similar to what you faced with the Mazda. The upper section of the bucket seat curves in too much so that I feel hunched when I'm driving. I have broad shoulders so it prefers to be flat against the seat. Usually after I drive, my right shoulder feels knotted up and sometimes my right forearm will go numb.

I hope they come out with 3rd party seats soon for the Renegade.

It's not often that I see car makers change seats so for all we know these could be seats we're stuck with.

All we can do is keep talking about it and hopefully that'll make some noise for Jeep to respond.

Hmm - maybe try leaning the seat back a little and/or a lumbar support or pillow. Might realign you a bit to a more comfortable position. We sprung for the 9-way adjustable drivers seat since this will be our main road trip car, but that was a spendy package for sure. Luckily for me, this was also my "everything I want because I can this time" car. I've sort a LOT of hours in shitty, torn, lumpy, uncomfortable drivers seats ;D

I hope you are able to find a good solution soon.

Wait- are the trailhawk seats the same as the other models, just with different fabric? If so, we found the seats extremely comfortable in the Latitudes we've test driven, in fact it's been one of my wife's sticking points.

While we're on the subject, is the trailhawk seat fabric just as rough as the fabric in the other models? She wasn't keen on how course it felt on naked skin, so either some seat covers are in order, or an upgrade to leather.

I just got my Jeep Renegade about a month ago. The seats are KILLING my back. I did a road trip and felt like I was going to have mid-back spasms that night / next day. I recently had a rental (Toyota Carola and have driven around my old Jeep Wrangler and when I got back into my Renegade...I about wanted to cry about how uncomfortable the seats are) Have you tried anything that has helped? I absolutely loathe the seats!! Thinking of returning the vehicle! 9 way adjustment is a joke. The seat doesn’t lower in the front. Cuts off circulation. Got cushion for that behind me now. Bucket is not really a bucket. No support on the sides. Plus for such a rugged vehicle the seats have no give. Super disappointed.
