Well, all vehicles are delivered in "Shipping Mode." It's a limited power mode all the way around, mostly so the battery doesn't drain for one reason or another. There are other reasons for ship mode. Most dealerships do a new vehicle inspection/check in and one of the things to do is take it out of ship mode. There's not really any software to "update."

Dealer told me that Rennies software is put on low power mode (so that with transport the driver can not use full power and damage the car^^the automatic ones certainly)
They need to be updated before delivery (simply take the mistake ...away causing the going into limited gasoline injection)

Truth. If you've been reading this forum, you would've read of a few accounts where buyers' dealers failed to complete what is called a "pre-delivery inspection" or PDI and neglected to take the cars out of shipping mode.
