hey everyone, I know this is a big issue for people. So I'm sharing what I found and have bought, just waiting for it to come in next week.....

Below is a link to the product, the website is RenegadeReady.com there starting to get new after market parts... There also importing from Europe! They are based out of NV.

When I get the bumper I will update this post with pics and description on how I did it!

Nice, but I could probably go to U-Haul or Penske and get a cheaper hitch, however it's good to know that there's a renegade parts webpage! Thanks for sharing the info!

But many "after market" hitches won't be integrated in the middle of the bumper; they will be below the bumper.

Ah, some assembly required I see...

4)Cutting template. Adhesive template with cutting lines and alignment marks that is placed onto the bumper cover to show exact cutting location for bezel hole and snap-in slits.

5) Template position checker used to verify that template has been accurately located on the bumper cover prior to making the first cuts.

Right I was so hesitant about buying this one because of the cost. The body work is no problem love doing projects on my jeeps! It also ways seems easy until you do it but that's the best part.... The real reason I got this hitch, instead of a bolt on is because of the ground clearance. I've already backed up into something and ripped the muffler bracket off.... Had to getho rig it for right now(zip ties mans best friend) Till a mounting kit comes out. When and if a lift does come out, I'll be doing it to give me more leeway.

Did You buy the one I posted? But I think when I was on the phone with them, they told me it comes with w female connector for future wiring. Not really sure though haven't gotten mine yet. I didn't buy the wiring kit, because I am just putting a smal trailer platform. Won't cover any lights.

yes that the same one. Not from renegadeready but anyway they come from same place.
I tried to call RenegadeReady but no answer and no call back after I left a message. I sent them email but no answer.
I contact Mopar and They will come back on it but that already 3 days and nothing.

I know there not open on weekends and there central time which is 2 hour behind me I think and they open at like 11am-5pm. I think it's only one guy on phone support. His name is brain. It took some time getting a hold of someone but they were good at getting back to me.

Do yourself a favor and pay the extra got the wire kit. Someone will rear end you while you are towing that small trailer. And they will say it's your fault because they could not see your tail lights through your trailer. That is why I put lights on my hitch mounted bike rack. Give yourself the peace of mind that it's not something you need to worry about.

I also ordered the kit from renegade ready, has anyone received theirs yet or received a tracking number?

I did not order the wire kit because tow ready has a plug and play wire kit for the renegade. The part number is 118651.

I ordered my initial wire kit from etrailer but even though their website said it was in stock, it was not. They sent me an email saying it would not be available until mid June (beware). I canceled my order from them and ordered from a trailer shop on ebay who had the part on hand.

I also ordered a CURT 57674 4 Way Flat To Both 7 Way Round And 4 Way Flat Adapter from amazon. I plan to pull a small pop up camper with mine and needed the 7 way round.

Both of my wireing kits are on the way just hoping that Renegade Ready is legit and my hitch gets shipped early this week.

I just talked to the guy from Renegade Ready (really nice and really knowledgeable) and it looks like their wire kit is also plug and play. If you order the kit from them you may want to consider adding the wire kit because I paid substantially more for mine than what they charge.

Just got my hitch kit from Renegade Ready. Looked through the instructions once. Not too bad. Very nice full color instructions. I'll be working on this tomorrow hopefully. BTW, I have the Trailhawk version with the wiring kit.

The wiring kit will be the same for all Renegade models. The non-Trailhawk bumper hitch kit needs to be specified. It incudes some bolts that non-Trailhawk Renegades do not have. It is easy to order the correct kit options from renegadeready web site.

Just got mine today! I busted it open and flipped through the instructions doesn't look bad at all... I'll be doing mine this weekend.. I'll upload pics of the finished product. Brain at renegade ready is a real nice guy, was on the phone with him today talking over it. He said it takes around 2 an half hours. The longest part he said to do is cutting the hole out of the bumper.

Part way there! I think getting the fascia off is half the battle. The two hardest parts so far were getting to the two 7mm panel screws and then separating the fascia at the pained junction with the rear wing. I may need a little touch-up paint on the top of the plastic (where the panel joint is). It's tough to pry apart with enough force and still not damage the edge of the fascia paint.

Rsanges,
Looks really good. I have the wiring done on mine (did not get it from Renegade Ready) but no bumper (ordered it lat Wednesday). I have a sick feeling that they don't actually have one and are giving me the run around but I hope I am wrong. I guess if they don't ship one soon I will have to go with the under the bumper model. Excellent work!
