I'm kinda hoping just a pissed off thread makes my Renegade show up at dealer tomorrow :)
But in all seriousness this is kinda ridiculous.
My TH has been in Concord On for about a week now, been there probably as long as took to get over the Atlantic....longer than took to get from Halifax NS to Concord On....but cannot make it to dealer in Hamilton On, which is shortest part. I can drive to Concord in like 1.5 hours....but takes week plus to make journey?? assuming it even shows tomorrow.
FCA has been pretty poor on all this in terms of updating dealers on status. One would think if in Concord now and last thing is drop off to dealer there would be some sort of eta. I can see how was tougher to get eta from Italy....but from somewhere 1.5 hours away....c'mon.
Any contact with FCA Canada has been disappointing. They take forever to respond, then basically attempt to throw dealer under the bus.
Not only do they not seem to care about their customers, but they don't seem to care about dealers either.
I seriously doubt I will continue brand loyalty after this experience with a company who cares so little....why support someone like that?
Jeep Cares feel free to respond or contact me....i

Funny thing about this (or not so funny) Is that I didn't know much about Marchionne, so read up on him today & learned he grew up in Canada & has dual citizenship (Canada/Italy). Maybe he can pull some strings for you.... All joking aside..... totally feel your frustration!!

At least you know where yours is at, ours is still showing JB and we are waiting to hear back from the dealership if they got any new info from FCA. We ordered a fully loaded TH and got a VON but that is about it. It went from D1 to JB a while back. Maybe they are making yours the best Renegade ever with not a single issue and all that jazz or they are joyriding in it Buller style.

yeah mine was in JB forever too. which was part of frustration....as it turned out it was somewhere over Atlantic, but still showing as at Body Vendor.
That is all dealer gets so how are they to keep customer informed?
Then FCA says to address concern with dealer?
Like I said I can see tough to get ETA when coming from Italy...but when about an hour down the road they should have an actual del date to dealer.

Not to mention I ordered this in early March....so adds to it having it sitting there so close with no word from FCA on del date to dealer....when others already have theirs from this shipment. Maybe put some priority on those who have been waiting forever......or at least communicate a date.

Guess the bitter rant did pay off after all.
Renegade TH showed up at the dealer today.

Still have to say, overall I am disappointed with FCA's handling of the launch....and communication to dealers.
Dealer has been good...so no complaints there.

Dealer did ask if I wanted locking lug nuts for $99....said maybe get FCA to cover it for all the inconvenience :)
Needless to say, there won't be any locked lug nuts.

jquest21, I'm glad you finally got your car.

Interesting that they wanted to charge you for the locking lug bolts. At my dealer, they automatically put them on all their cars. When I purchased my Trailhawk, I asked for four regular lug bolts and removed the locking ones that were on it (I just don't like the locking bolts).

Well they were good at keeping me as informed as they could given that FCA didn't update codes too well :)
But they have been great on prior service work on Patriot....fixed things properly that other dealers did not....one time they had two jeeps confused so I sat there for some time, and they comp'd the work....
Of course they no longer clean vehicle that is in for service. No place is perfect....but overall I like them better than others.
I'll ask them for 4 lugs too....as never had locking....and I know my wife lost her unlock...they had to cut off for putting winter tires on.
