2015 1.6 diesel

Central locking won't open. Had to open window to use key in the lock. Disconnected battery for half hour and still the same. Boot lid works fine on unlocking and also is the a way to open the fuel cap in the 2015 model when unlocking won't work
Thanks in advance.

Passenger tried to get out of the rear door and it would not open. Tried the unlock on the door. Tried my door with interior handle and would not open or any other door internal. Had to drop window to open with key in the lock. The rear passenger climbed out if the boot. The only lock working is the 2x press on fob for the boot.

Called auto electricians and nobody will touch it. Called pentagon who are no longer jeep dealers but they have not called back. One garage said they will take it this morning and work on it. Will keep you updated but think if we cannot get anyone to look at it in the future then it will need to go.

Garage called to say diagnostics found nothing but possible faulty BCM? They said unable to progress as BCM is on passenger side and unable to open the door. I now have it booked into another garage in Rotherham Tried booking it in jeep in Doncaster and Leeds but end of December for booking in.

So I'm still unclear on what's working or not. Having to remember that your driver's and passenger's doors are opposite to ours... :)

You were finally able to get you driver's (right-side) door open; but could never get your passenger (left-side) door physically open? And the BCM is on the left?

So there are no Jeep or Fiat or Alfa dealers near you? That's not good, with a vehicle as...um...technically complex as this one...

Only door to open is the drivers. Unlock with key manually after pressing key to stop alarm. Passenger and both back doors won't open from inside or out. The boot opens with double press of boot key button. The fuel flap won't unlock either. Pressing the lock unlock buttons on the drivers door make a noise but not the normal clunk when all doors working would open. I called a fiat dealer local and they said they would not work on it.

Seems strange you cannot unlock/open the passenger door manually from the inside.
That should just be mechanical linkage for lock and latch, surely ...

Have you tried disconnecting the car battery to reboot the car?

Or both back doors.

Very strange. That should be a failsafe system, allowing mechanical unlocking and opening of all doors from the inside...

And sure enough... I just took a quick look through my 2021 USB Service Manual. Here's a shot of the inside of the left-front (our driver's) door:

You can see the two grey rods running from the area of the inside handle, back to the door latch (right above the two elements marked "3a"). Those seem to be the cables or linkages for the manual door unlock/opening.

Soon as I arrived home I disconnected the battery for half an hour and reconnected. Only door to open is the drivers. All others won't open from inside or outside. I did go into the settings and change the autolock doors as a precaution as I didn't want the drivers door to lock when driving just incase a quick exit from the vehicle is required. I'm hoping this guy can resolve on Monday whom specialises in car BCM's we can't believe how many won't work on the jeep. The local dealer who used to service the jeep no longer works on them and said they only do servicing and not fault work. They got rid of jeep just over a year ago.
