Hello all

Anyone changed the bulbs in the daytime running lights to led as I think the normal bulbs don't look good and as my renegades fab want to do something about it.
If so what type do I need please?
Also where's best place get mud flaps and fitted floor mats from ?

It's a great idea to put LEDs in - IMHO it was a big mistake to fit the rather feeble Day-running lights as they are - and it would probably have been cheaper to cost in the LEDs

Yeah I agree they look bad , we think the renegade is a great looking vehicle and also a,good build so why the cheap bulbs
Can't decide whether white or blue bulbs with having a black jeep, might try both see what's best

let us know which bulbs fit. Current bulb is a 20/5w I think ...20w for DLR and 5W in sidelight mode. I think white would look good on the black Jeep (mine also black)

Stick with white as the blue bulbs are likely get you a tug from our friends in blue. It is in the construction and use regs.

For the mats I got some genuine Jeep ones off Ebay for half the price the dealers are charging.

As I posted above, white is the only choice, as a blue light on your vehicle will get you acquainted with your friendly traffic officer

I have just ordered the DRLs from the same company on ebay based in the USA. Doesnt appear to be anyone in the UK who can supply the DRLs. Cost £33

Has anyone tried the bulbs which are on eBay? The come in at £23 and say not fault shows up but I am bit nervous about shelling out for them if they are rubbish.

I'm still looking to do DRLs and headlights with white. In UK so any links that work would be great for both.

the DRL LEDs I got off e-bay have been in for a week and are working fine...nice white light and no flickering or canbus errors so far. £21 These are the 450 lumen variant, you can also get brighter.

Its been around 3/4 weeks now since i changed the DRLs to the LEDs and everything is fine. No issues whatsoever. The lights themselves dont appear brighter but the pure white light is far better than the sickly yellows bulbs i replaced.
